Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment
TERTIARY WASTEWATER TREATMENT
Reverse Osmosis Wastewater Treatment System (RO)
Tertiary Wastewater Industrial Solutions
Pretreatment and primary treatment of wastewater is important before utilizing the reverse osmosis (RO) process. Membranes can foul or plug and be damaged if the water is not treated prior to this step. To learn more about the primary and secondary treatment of wastewater, visit these sections on our website.
Clean Water Technology’s Reverse Osmosis (RO) is an advanced wastewater treatment system that makes water reusable and drinkable. It is used to remove dissolved impurities from water. Pressurwe is used as the driving force for the separation. The applied pressure must be in excess of the osmotic pressure of the dissolved contaminants to allow flow across the membranes.
The systems include:
- Antiscalant dosing
- Micron filters
- High pressure pumps
- Membranes and membrane housing
- Clean in place (CIP) (optional)
The RO tertiary wastewater treatment is ideal for water reuse, water recycling and drinking water.

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Advantages
- Fully skid mounted systems
- HMI – human mechanical interface panels
- Durable
- Easy maintenance
- Low operational costs
- Containerized systems available – plug and play
- Standard systems save costs
